I love me some Bros Johnson. Louis is one of my bass idols It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

DAMN! You took me waaay back! I'm showing my age here but when I got this LP for Xmas (as a kid), I played this sucka over and over all day. Classic funk.
Can Louis still play? Heard he went thru some very rough times to a point where George and him weren't speaking.

The Brothers Johnson was the first music that I dug when I was a kid; the songs I loved when I was 7 was "I'll Be Good to You" and "Get the Funk Out of My Face." THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

Go to a used record store and look for this album on vinyl The book is a must-have.That's what was so great about albums back then....many times, there was a bonus included. The vinyl copy of Stevie Wonder's 'Songs In The Key Of Life' also came with a HUGE booklet of lyrics and credits.I have that too.

I love the Blam!! album. In fact, I love it so much I first bought it on vinyl, then on picture disc and then paid like 80$ for a CD copy [Edited 4/24/07 23:02pm] It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

You are aware that their first four albums were remastered and released in 1996? I looked for that album everywhere. It wasn't anywhere to be found. They sold a couple of them at Amazon.com, one for 60$ which only shipped to the states and one for 80$. At that time I thought that was way too high a price to pay for the CD and didn't buy it. Soon after that, someone bought the 80$ disc from Amazon. I really started listening to my vinyl copy (... and my downloaded p2p copy ;o) a lot and really found myself loving this album. I decided that I want to add the cd to my collection too, since it probably won't get remastered or reissued any time soon anyway, so I started looking for it again. I found one for 80$ over at GEMM, but I had some trouble with the seller and wasn't able to buy it. Soon after, someone put a copy up for sale on Amazon, and I decided I wanted it. Yes, it does seem like a high price but I really LOVE this album, and like I said, I didn't find any cheaper copies anywhere. Now, the thing might be different in the States where you can actually go to record stores and buy good music. It's almost impossible to find that kind of stuff in any store here in Finland so... Do you have the other three albums that were reissued in the 90s? 'Look Out For No.1' (their best album, imo),'Right On Time' and 'Light Up The Night'? I'm hoping that, eventually,we will get remasters of 'Winners' and 'Blast'.

Dunno why Blam!! was so much more expensive and much harder to find . Yea, hopefully they'll remaster those two albums too It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
