The Jackson 5's Motown 25 Performance Medley

It seems as though Michael's performance of "Billie Jean" overshadowed every other performance that night at Motown 25, but The Jackson 5's Performance as a group was very good also. This is one of their best live performances ever IMO. Everything was on point that night and I much prefer the way MJ sounded as an adult singing "The Love You Save" & "Never Can Say Goodbye" over the versions he recorded when he as a kid.

There was a lot more 2 their performance than what was shown on TV.

eek Really? I couldn't disagree more.

It was a good performance nonetheless. One of my earliest memories...

The Jacksons didn't lipsynch the Motown 25 performance confused

Michael was the only one with his mic turned on. That's why he shared it with Jermaine on "I'll Be There."

The singing was live for sure, you could hear it in their voices.

But as much as I love their performance on Motown, I prefer this medley of 1973;

I love that performance as well. They all sang that so well and I really liked Jermaine & MJ's parts in particular...And yes the Jackon 5 were singing 100% live @motown 25. There was no lip synching going on there at all-I swear some people are tone deaf .
