the first one is my fav

The Heat is the only other one
that I've heard, and I only
liked one song on it ("Maybe")

classic case of talented artist
with the wrong material

fav songs
You're Making Me High
Unbreak My Heart
Be A Man About It
Let It Flow

and everything from that 1st album

Yes if you can get it used for five dollars. lol
Best track on cd is lies which ironically is produced by hubby keri
lewis and features his ex band mint condition playing the music.

My favorites are the first three and then it goes downhill after that.
Just when you thought she could do no worse with more than a woman she
probably topped worst to the nth degree with libra. What happened toni?

I love her entire first album and a few songs from her second album music

After that,it's all downhill boxed As soon as she stopped working with Babyface and jumped on the Rodney Jerkins/smoothed-out/hip-hop sounding garbage,I lost interest.

I really love Secrets, The Heat and Libra. The debut cd is and excellent cd, but not my favorite. I hated More Than A Woman. It was a bit too hip-hop for me. I believe her management at the time had something to do with that. Someone asked was "More Than A Woman" worth buying....the answer is yes if you can find it for $1.

Toni Braxton is an amazing singer but she should stay away from trendy,hip-hop producers. It doesn't suit her.Ever since I heard her single "Love Shoulda Brought You Home" in 92,I always considered her a mature, adult singer....like Phyllis Hyman and Anita Baker. She doesn't need hip-hop beats and all that trendy nonsense.Let Ciara and Ashanti make that crap.

wouldn't it be cool to stick her in the studio with Gamble and Huff and see what they come up with? lol

I missed the Toni that I loved from the first two albums. I haven't or probably won't listen to anything that has been released since the late 90's.

Fave songs:

Love Shoulda Brought You Home
Let It Flow
How Many Ways
I Love Me Some Him
There's No Me Without You
Why Should I Care
Another Sad Love Song
"Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
"It's just my imagination, once again running away with me."

Love Shouda Brought You Home
Breathe Again
7 Whole Days

The amazing part about that album, Face had written most of it for Anita Baker but she turned down the songs eek. I bet she regrets that shit now. Now Face is suing her for cancelling out on some concerts they were supposed to do together. Face tried to resurrect her career but I guess that went sour.
