Ohh really.. lol.. opps..

Someone wrote something about "Dancing with the Stars" in this forum.. I presumed we could talk about anything in a forum titled "General Discussion".. my bad!

And thankyou..My birthday was... hmmm.. lacklustre.
Basically the older one gets the shitter the birthdays get. It is what it is, I guess!

Yeah, they get less and less important somehow since by the time you get older, people have already celebrated them so many times that they've become routine or even a burden. On the other hand, they should be an excuse as good as any to party or at least just get together with some friends.

I saw them last year and they were pretty good, although Axl's voice isn't as good as it used to be.
But hearing all those wonderful and familiar tunes again sure brings back memories.

I'll be down under in may and june, where and when are they playing and where can I get tickets online?

Ok in Melbourne they are performing at Rod Lava Arena on June 15th..
You can get the tickets from ticketek (??), which is who I will be calling at 9 am on the dot!

The tickets go on sale at 9:00am tomorrow morning, at the moment it is 12:20am down here, so you will have to figure out what time that is where ever you live...

I hope you get lucky and get tickets, because I am assuming (concidering they are only performing one show in Melbourne) they will sell out within 30 minutes.

I'm so jealous of you.. lol

I didn't want to be on the floor because I am pretty short and I always get pushed to the back of the bunch and then I can't see a bloody thing. ARGGHHHHH!!! They're meanies!

I'm in the lower area which is not too bad, atleast I didn't get the upper area of the venue otherwise I would have bawled my eyes out!

I hope Axl is good.. he really does make my fanny tingle! Sorry for the unwanted imagery!
But it is true, he is a talented bastard!

Oh I was planning to get them at Real Groovy...I was told I may have to line up overnight like they did with Chili tickets. I'm pretty sure they came to NZ for the Use Your Illusion tour.

....sad five bucks says he cancels!

Yeah I saw them at Ericsson Stadium in '93 for the Use Your Illusion tour. Was a bloated overblown show. They played here in '88 at the Supertop and it was supposed to be awesome.
I've heard mixed reviews since he's been touring, it seems like he's hit or miss (really awesome or he's late/cancels/sounds like shit)
Hope it's a great show for you.

If he cancels.. I will protest! I have never been to a concert where the performer has cancelled.. that is just rude!

Prince was late on stage when i saw him, it didn't phase me! Axl can be as late as possible as long as he actually gets the hell on stage before dawn!

Have faith in the man people.. If he performs in Australia.. he is going to perform in NZ. He isn't just going to fob you off like that! (I hope!)
