Neptunes all the way.

They actually go farther back the 1996 and 1999. The Neptunes hooked up with Teddy Riley in 1992 with Wreckx-N-Effect's "Rump Shaker and SWV's Right Here & Tim hooked up with Jodeci in 1993

The Neptunes easily. I haven't felt Timbaland in awhile. Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Missy Timbaland was good. I cant stand none of the 'ish he's been putting out for Justin, Nelly (Furtado) and the like.

I like The Neptunes better for some of their more pop oriented songs because they sometimes suck at street records. Timbo is ok but some of his tracks are a bit annoying however his stuff with Aaliyah and Nelly Furtado are the best IMO...

I like the Neptunes, but Timbaland wins easily IMO. No contest.

The muthaf***in NEPTUNES! Pharrell is confident but still down to earth and Chad is a great composer...though really shy.

Timbaland would suck the salt off his own balls and brag about how it was a worthwhile experience if given the chance. His beats are the same also ( Listen to Icebox and My Love and you can hear TOO MANY similarities)

I like that somebody posted Teddy Riley. man he had some nice jams! WTF happened to Teddy?

As far as Timbaland he has a lot me tracks than that. But I do like the Neptunes.

I think you have to give it to Timbaland because he has more experience. He has been in the game a lot longer. It looks like the Neptunes are fading away into the sunset. We haven't heard much from him lately. The only thing I don't like about the neptunes is they are trying to do some hardcore rap shit. They should leave that shit. He needs to stick with what he knows. It's like when Hammer tried to go gangsta rap. it didn't work. But I did like pumps in a bump by Hammer.

Egos aside, I like them both and there are songs that I really enjoyed by both of them. I love what Tim did for and with Aaliyah and Missy. And I love a lot of what the Neptunes did with Kelis and others. BUT, Tim has a darker more ominous sound and I prefer the open airy almost dreamlike sound the Neptunes are capable of so for me its Pharrell and co.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Pharrell, even though he's very overrated. Timbaland seems adept only at stealing music these days - he's one arrogant prick who I'd like to see having the shit kicked out of him.

In the game a lot longer, actually Pharrell was out about a year before Timbaland.

I agree with both of y'all.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
