Finally copped TTD's Vibrator & Wild Card... and after a couple listens for both, i'm extremely underwhelmed i so wanted them to be slammin' and the TTD threads had my hopes up. i'll give them more time but i don't think much will change. Maybe three trax from Vibrator and two from Wild Card (joker's edition) that i see myself listening to. Designated Fool is excellent, O'Davina is catchy, Surrender and Shalom have potential for future listening, and for some reason, Supermodel Sandwhich with cheese has found it's way into my repetoire of random lyrical outbursts. The ballads had potential but were too grandiose for their own good. So my new ranking of TTD's stuff is like this
1. Hardline 2. Symphony or Damn 3. Wild Card (Joker's edtn) 4. Vibrator -still lookin' for Angels & Demons and now i'm curious about Neither Fish nor Flesh, people have said to avoid it, but could it be worse? Saw it used for $6 [Edited 4/11/07 19:05pm]

"Holding on to You" and "Vibrator" don't do anything for you? "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Haha! I have that too! I don't particularly like the song or the album, but it just bursts out every now and then. The nr.1 on my outburst-chart is Sly Stone's Boom shakalakalaka Boom shakalak. I know how you feel. I always wanted to like TTD, but it just didn't work out that way. His latest, vampires and angels, again fails horribly... And yes, AlexadeParis, incidentally some tracks do pass the bar, but as an album they do not. Oh, and fish/flesh, steer clear. Buy, listen, collect dust... [Edited 4/12/07 3:37am]

Perfect way to describe TTD's music. At first you might be "wtf", but once you've listened to it a few times, you fall in love.

Vibrator (the song) rocks out, it's a keeper, and i'll take It's Been Said and maybe Undeniably over Holding on To You.
saw a greatest hits album used but wanted to hear Wild Card and Vibrator first, i'll have to go back and examine the track listing to see if its worth getting.
