Once again I see that the org is vibrating with new Tori!

Well about the new songs. I think they are excelent. Especially "Almost Rosey". Shame this only Tori and her bosendorf. Reminds me a lot of LE!

Anyways. My first TOTAL listen to the entire album will be on my iPod on my way to work today. I must admit that the total band-feel sounds like a return to form. My first thoughts; the intro of Bouncing sounds like Blondie! My first instant fave (of the songs I heard) is Body & Soul because of the Led Zep/bluesy influence.
More review later on, but I think that this album might be JUST what I need to like Tori again...

But in the end I am afraid that it will come down to me being a shallow fella, not allowing the woman that channeled stuff like her first four albums to push out albums sounding like Joshua Kaddison, like I cannot stand Prince releasing airhead music while at the same time leaving All My Dreams unreleased.

My instant stand out is Body & Soul, the proof that she indeed needs to work with Trent Reznor. But then again; who am I? The guy that wants Rick Rubin and/or Björk to produce Prince. That's who I am.

So you're saying you don't like the new one?

If you think this sounds like Joshua Kaddison, you're fucked. nuts

I am not saying I dislike it, but I just do not think it is up to par with her older stuff. At least this album has songs I wanna play again after one listen, unlike her previous two albums; it is more distinct.

I know it's a bit early to say, but I think it's easily one of her best.

I am probably thrown off by the entire cast. I like the hints of Blondie and Led Zeppelin I hear, though.
