Please Don't Hurt My Baby

Underrated classic song on an underrated classic album, A Time To Love
everything about it is perfect, the funky latin-ish drumming, the rubbery bass, talk box, the bridge, and when Stevie breaks into the chorus "AWWooo! Please Don't Hurt My Baby" he nails it! Come-on the songs irresistable funk. headbang
At this point in history, we have a choice to make
To either, walk the path of love, or be crippled by our hate

well, I think Ordinary Pain has a different way of telling the story; like, at first you think its a man done wrong by his woman, but then the woman tells her side, for what really happened; PDHMB is more like from a third person point of view, I guess its a little bit more updated; nevertheless, I hope we hear more stuff like this from Stevie in the future

Yeah, it's a stylistic throwback for Stevie (but it still funks). "All Day Sucker" came to mind, for me, riff-wise.

It's a good song...one of the few uptempo songs on 'A Time 2 Love'.
