I actually like it too. I just understand why others don't.

But to me it's a classic children's song, and is way ahead of its time in terms of using outside sounds and going outside of Rock & Roll.

Octopus' Garden just shows the greatness of the Beatles. It's not a tremendous song by itself, but they perform & arrange it so damn well it's become a classic.

ppl don't like Octopus' Garden? i like the song very much. granted, its not my fave, but its cool. Is the Love album worth getting? i mean i'm not into Cirque du Solei, so I wanna know if its worth it and what exactly is it.

Actually in the first part I was referring to Yellow Submarine.

I like Love, but I kind of wish they'd deconstructed the music even more. But it's a great mix and the sound is very good. The songs aren't too much different from the originals, with a few exceptions.

lol I only mention Yellow Submarine in terms of originality, not necessarily quality.

Rubber Soul's one of their best, most consistant, records nod

I like Yellow Submarine. And Octupuses Garden for that matter! I thought the "Love" version of octopuses garden was one of the best things on it

I loathe "Yellow Submarine," but I have nothing against "Octopus's Garden." In fact, I dare say it's one of the best songs Ringo sang.

But I like "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" a lot, so I'm weird. lol

hiya tznekybackstreet! Yeah, u'll like it. It's kind of like a collage of beatles tunes. U don't have to know all their stuff to dig it. When u get to know the beatles stuff a bit better, u'll have fun trying to pick out which bits of which songs have been thrown together.
