Any "classic" Dylan album Exile on Main St by The Stones - enjoyable, but a classic? Nah. Too long and lacks killer melodies

I agree with Exile. I loved the albums they released before Exile, but never got that Exile hype.

London Calling - love the title track and Train in Vain, the rest
The Stone Roses - I was excited recently to discover that incredible song 'Waterfall' and I couldn't wait to hear the rest. Now that I have....I just don't get the hype. I hope I do someday.

I think The Rolling Stones, Exile In Main Street album is overrated. It just seems to ramble on and on.

I don't get this one either, and I like a lot of other fusion / electric jazz from the 70s, including Jaco Pastorius' self titled album. [Edited 4/11/07 11:39am]

You know, I like it, but it kinda lags in spots. I thought Hard Day's Night was better. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Off the Wall, sure it's got some really great material but only half of it is any good. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Shoot Out the Lights--Richard & Linda Thompson. I've always heard this is one of the best albums of all time. It's aight....
Grace--Jeff Buckley. again it's all right, but a little squishy for me. My Legacy

That's what I remember of it anyway. I want to love it...just hasn't happened yet

I really wish people would get off his jock. It's OK, but nothing anywhere close to mind-blowing. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Any "classic" Dylan album You don't get 'Blonde on Blonde' or 'Bringing It All Back Home'? I suppose if they don't interest you then they don't interest you but those 2 in particular absolutely make me shake my head in awe when you consider how far forward he took songwriting. I can't think of a mediocre song on either. Pet Sounds is an odd album but there is definitely a melancholic edge to that record.

Tales Of Kidd Funkadelic Novabreaker! Someone has gotten a hold of your org-password, I know you couldn't have written that yourself! "I'm never gonna tell it" could be a hit today, even 20 years from now. The title track, a trip and a half. Well, my confession is Marvin's 'what's going on'. It's growing, but when I first heard it, it lacked groove. I wanted a hard-hitting funk-groove, and WGO didn't deliver. Nowadays, James Jamersons basslines are growing on me, but it's been a long road...
