MORE NEWS ABOUT MADONNA'S NEW ALBUM "50YO": Timberlake is doing songs for madge and more juicy tidbits!

Justin Timberlake writing new music for Madonna

MadonnaTribe has just heard some great news about Madonna's new album. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are now working together on new music for the Queen of Pop.This time words of this new collaboration come straight from Justin's mouth, interviewed by Chloe Franklin in the new number of Hotfeatures.

Justin reveals that he's not working on new music for himself right now, but along with new songs for Macy Gray and Rihanna he's working with Timbaland in London on new material for Madonna.
Chloe Franklin: Are you working on new music?

Justin Timberlake: I am working on new music right now but not for myself.

Chloe Franklin: Whom are you writing music for, can you say?

Justin Timberlake: I did a Song for Macy Gray. Timberland and I did a song for Rihanna. And we are currently working on new stuff for Madonna in London .

The Sun on Justin Timberlake

British newspaper The Sun also reports about Justin Timberlake busy writing songs for Madonna, after he revealed it himself on Hotfeature The Sun says:
The former NSYNC star is collaborating with the Queen Of Pop on her forthcoming album, which is due out in November. Justin confirmed: "I have been working on some new music. But it's not for myself — I'm writing for other people. I’m working on some stuff for Madonna."

Justin headed into a West London studio yesterday with Madge.

He is in the country for a few weeks as he prepares to kick off the UK leg of his current world tour.

Madonna is famous for reinventing herself and this time her album will have a real hip-hop feel. She has lined up a Who’s Who of the genre's megastars, including Timberlake’s producer pal Timbaland to help her achieve R&B credibility.

Hip-hop legend Pharrell Williams is already working on at least four tracks and his fingerprints look set to be all over the new release.

Madge's last offering, Confessions On A Dance Floor, was a massive success, with Brit DJ and producer Stuart Price the main influence on the 2005 album.

There will also be some dancy Price-produced tracks on the new offering and she has also been joined by Chicago house DJ and producer Felix Da Housecat in the studio. A source told me: "Confessions was a worldwide smash — but this will be different once again. The last album was a credible disco record and Madonna wants to give hip-hop the same treatment this time. It’s not all hip-hop though, there are a lot of producers from a lot of genres in there. It could be her most ambitious project yet."

Meanwhile, Madonna has been named as a headliner at the London leg of the Live Earth concerts.

Keep in mind that The Sun isn't exactly the most "reliable" news source lol but it looks like the new album will indeed be released in November.I actually heard this from a Warner Bros. source.

I find it funny that Bjork and Madonna are yet again working with the same producers...and Bjork's comes out first.

I think it's merely coincidence this time, but still find it amusing.

It's probably not going to be straight hip hop. I am sure it's going to be dancey.

I love that JT says HE is writing the songs as if HE is such a prolific songwriter...um...I would love to see what he could do if he made an album all on his own without the songwriting, producing of anyone else.

On the Grammy's he was the only artist to speak of the song he was about to perform and he made it a point that he was a songwriter...then he stratigically played guitar on one song and piano on another.. This dude tries to hard.

He's a pop artist...and a huge one at that...just live with that title and go!
Dont try and be Dylan, Bowie, Prince cuz you will never be...

and you have Bedtime Stories as your avatar? New Jack was on it's way out. Babyface was on his way out. Yet we got Bedtime Stories. She has the ability to bring out the best in people she works with.

"Bedtime Stories" was a hot R&B album that went back in time and was probably more influenced by Marvin Gaye than Snoop, however, at the time hip-hop was pretty amazing...Not only is hip-hop dead but JT's sthick is getting old (and he phones it in when he guests on songs).

Justin Timberlake and Madonna emerged from a London studio looking exhausted after their first day recording together.

The two singers are collaborating on the Queen of Pop's new album which is believed to have a hiphop feel.

The 48-year-old singer caused havoc outside the studio last night as she demanded her car be brought to the back door and parked on the pavement so nobody would see her escape.
JT only flew in from LA yesterday. He is over here for a few weeks preparing for the UK leg of his current world tour.

I wouldn't think too negatively about it. For starters, I don't think it's gonna be a "HIPHOP" album, per say. She'll incorporate some influences, but that's about it that I expect. Remember, Timbaland also worked on tracks with both Bjork and Duran Duran, with JT participating in one of the Duran Duran tracks. Both these artists are far removed from hiphop, as is Madonna. So I dont see her getting all gangsta on us

Besides, Stuart Price is still on board for the album, as is Felix Da HouseCat. So it does look like it's gonna be a dance-oriented album, just maybe slightly more urban.

Remember, the few times Madonna has worked with someone mainstream(Babyface, Dallas Austin) resulted in some great music. So we'll see what comes out of these collaborations

They have made their minds up before they've even heard it.

Remember that Bedtime Stories started out with Shep and then she dumped him for someone else. She could change her mind at any moment, and she dumped WO for Mirwais midway through Music's sessions.

You were actually the second...

Sellout from doing mainstream pop music? wtf? That's what she's been doing her entire career. Madonna's one of the few artists that can't "sell out" because she's always re-inventing her sound and style.

And please, what about MJ working with Will.i.am? rolleyes Guess he's another sell out.

babyface was doing great until about 1997/98 and was getting a lot of awards between the bedtime stories period and then. Remember boyz 2 men, tlc, toni braxton, waiting to exhale soundtrack? And yes I know he did a lot of stuff in the late 80's and early 90's but he was still going strong at that point

it still amazes me that Madonna threads get the most views when something new from her is coming out. and people still have the balls to say she is over.
