Charlotte Gainsbourg - 5:55 so i finally heard this album! and i think it's just lovely. pretty melodies, lovely soundscapes and a breathy voice with ever so slight an accent. this is why i love browsing the internet for music since i'll discover beautiful stuff like this every once in a while and out of nowhere, pa-da-boom, there's another one of those lp's that is an instant favorit to sit amongst your most cherished dozen or so albums. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I've been reading about this album with its contributions from Jarvis Cocker. It sounds like something I would really like. Charlotte was great in the movies '21 Grams' and 'The Science Of Sleep'.

Great album, I heard it for the first time last week. It's basically a colloaboration with Air, I have all their albums anyway so when I heard they had been working with Serge's daughter I was excited.

I just listened to the three tracks on Charlotte's myspace page.
AWESOME! I'm definitely picking this one up this week. In stores today I believe.

I bought the album last night.
Wowie-zowie, it's dreamy. I love it. This will make my year-end top ten list for sure. The U.S. version has two extra tracks ("Set Yourself On Fire" & "Somewhere Between Walking And Sleeping") plus two music videos ("5:55" & "The Song That We Sing") and an interview with Charlotte.
