What inspired me to start this thread was an AMC commercial I saw last night for the 30th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever. I missed the date of the airing, but it's going to be remastered, uncut, little commercials etc. So I started to think of the tv shows, movies, and songs of that year. I looked up the top songs and thought it would be fun to remininsce. I turned five that year.

There are probably four of the favorites that I didn't listen to back then, but discovered years later. There are some songs on the original list that were left off that I'm familiar with but don't really like. Then there were others I had no idea about the lyrics or beat.
