Ne-Yo to write songs for MJ and Britney. Yay or nay? I don't know if there's already been a thread about this so let me know if this is old, but...
Ne-Yo is working on a lot of projects and I'm sure many of you have heard that he not only has agreed on writing songs for Britney Spears, but also for Michael Jackson's new album. What is your opinion on this? Will Ne-Yo be able to help MJ and Britney in making their, more or less, long-awaited comebacks or is it just a bad idea? Yay or Nay? i don't see what all the hype is about with Ne-Yo. So what, he writes songs for himself and other people, he definitely isn't the first and his songs aren't that great. He's a better songwriter than Beyonce, but his shit isn't "legendary" status. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

Sure, I've seen it. I know what you mean but one can also like both Prince and MJ, for different reasons. At least he's said Prince has inspired him in terms of the importance of working hard and spending time in the studio until one's pleased. | |

R&b singer and songwriter. www.myspace.com/neyo To me he's one of very few interesting new artists out there with actual talent. If you don't agree that's fine. But I think of him as a breath of fresh air. | |
