I remember all that going down between Anita Baker and Beverly Glen Records. Her song "Angel" was a top 10 R&B hit and according to the record company she made no money for them. When she got out of her deal in 1985, it was thought her career would be crushed. Funny how that all turned out. THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. Damn that just made me really nostalgic for times when people could actually sing and everyone didn't sound just alike. Love me some Anita Baker. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
