Return of The Real Milli Vanilli Singers

While Universal plans to make a movie about the Milli Vanilli story, some fans of the music have been asking for a long time, "What happened to the real singers?" Even when VH-1 put together the "Behind The Music" TV special, they ignored the real talent behind the lip syncing duo's hit music.

Here is what some of the real talent is up to now:

In 2000, Charles Shaw, the rapper on "Girl You Know It's True," released an updated version of the hit song. He is currently performing with a cover group in Germany, called, "Me & The Heat." His website is in German but worth a look.

In 2007, John Davis, the jamaican sounding rapper on all the Milli Vanilli songs except "Girl You Know It's True," came out of seclusion and started playing concerts in Germany. He now has a website where he can be booked to perform.

In 2007, Jodie Rocco and Linda Rocco, the 2 female vocalists on all the Milli Vanilli songs, launched the first Milli Vanilli Internet Forum for the Milli Vanilli fans to discuss the group. Jodie Rocco and Linda Rocco also plan to release an updated version of, "Girl You Know It's True."

I always wondered what happened to them, and I always thought that they were good.

I guess they were lumped in with the scandal. They didn't falsely take credit for the songs, but they did benefit from the Milli Vanilli image.

it's a shame they just didn't release the album under the true artists name - whatever it would have been. it still would have done really well, it's a good pop album.
