EXCLUSIVE: Janet definitely going on tour in 2007

J|X Exclusive: A source that is currently working on Janet's upcoming concert tour has verified to Janet|Xone that there will indeed be a tour, despite internet rumors to the contrary.

The source has confirmed that Janet and her crew are currently in the middle of a 2 and 1/2 month rehearsal process in Atlanta, where Janet is also currently filming the movie "Why Did I Get Married?" Right now, it is unclear exactly when this rehearsal period began and when it is scheduled end.

Some tour dates and venues have been confirmed, including the tour's first date and location, although it is unknown right now when the schedule will become public.

All other information about the tour, such as its official name, is still being held confidential by Janet and her crew members at this point.

that would be very nice but I don't think it's going to happen and if it does, it will be cut short with cancellations like mariah. I love janet but people don't like her anymore which is sad

I wouldn't say that people don't like her anymore... majority of her fans didn't support her last 2 efforts, but she's a seasoned veteran who can have a successful tour without a hit album... I for one like Mariah and have all her cd's but i would never go see her in concert because she's not known for putting on a great show...

True. Janet has more than proved herself to be a great live performer. It does not matter if her cd is selling or not b/c people will go to see her live no matter what. She should have no problem selling out arenas and such.
