What Allmusic.com said about the "upgrade" on Beyonce's album. They gave the album a postive review in general (the orignal verison) but added this comment to the review. It's very funny.

So did Beyonce fall to or overcome the sophomore cd test? An artists second CD after a big hit CD is usually a challenge but Beyonce got so much shit coming at me I dont know what to make of this.  | |

she's still one of the industry's top artists, so you're right. She's still hot despite the hate. i just don't like the way this all rolled out. oh well, as said before I'm gonna check out a show and I'm sure I'll be interested again. | |

I saw on vh1 soul last night the 50 videos she got for the extra songs on
the cd and it looks like a hot mess. I must admit i like the shakira video. Upgrade you is okay. That garbage she has call get me bodied up with the destiny's child girls and solange is wack as hell. It is just too much going on in that song and video. I am not a huge beyonce fan anyway. I will just settle for the joint on the dreamgirls movie and upgrade you. I won't waste my time or money on this cd. Don't laugh at my funk
