Looking at that list, I'm just going to do this:

disbelief

...and move on. At least I didn't have any respect left for BET to lose.

this show was highly crappy how can you place Ciara, one of the best dancers at 25, then place Chris Brown at #4

Beyonce is in the top 10, cmon get the fuck outta here, then they placed Missy Elliot on the list, Prince is a decent dancer but top 8 is crazy. BObby Brown at 14 is B.S.

25.Ciara

24.Diddy I don't know about this, I know he was a dancer back in the late 80's/early 90's. Kid N Play would have been a better artist.

21.Gregory Hines Should have been gigher

20.Missy Elliot WHY? She should not be on this list.

19.Tina Turner higher

18.Aaliyah higher

14.Bobby Brown

13.Jenifer Lopez

Another example would be the late 1970s/early 1980s version of "Crazy Legs" -- Jeffrey Daniel of Shalamar fame (who was doing The Moonwalk way before Michael Jackson, you zealots).

AND WHERE IN THE HELL IS SAMMY DAVIS JR. ON THE LIST ?!?!

It's just that when you make a statement "Top [fill in the blank] Of All Time" and don't qualify it with any parameters, what should you expect.

It happens around here all the time. Top/Best based on what?

BET should said the list fall in line with its scope, such as "the top dancers in R&B and rap history." That would have made the scope popular recording acts and would have cut out the accomplished dancers such as Alvin Ailey, Sammy Davis Jr. et al. Instead, it became an ill-defined mess.

EXACTLY!!!! To this day this footage give me chills it's so incredibly amazing. They defy gravity and everything. Now how is it they're not number one? Can MJ do that?

And Bill Bailey was doing the moonwalk way before Jeffrey Daniel.

It's not a matter of who did what first. Michael Jackson improved the moonwalk and brought it to the mainstream.

You all keep missing the point. Michael ranks high as he did because he completely revolutionized dance culture. The Moonwalk has got to be the most well known dance move ever. Of course I am aware that he did not invent it, but he was the one that brought it to the masses. MJ is the one that made the moonwalk famous.

...And I agree that The Nicholas Brothers & Cab Colloway were amazing & I wouldn't have minded if they had placed at #1 but you have to take into account not only how talented of a dancer someone is, but the impact they had. MJ danced with The Nicholas Brothers on "The Jacksons Variety Show" and more than held his own with them, but anyway who's had a bigger impact and inspired more people than MJ when it comes to dancing? Okay nobody so he (along with Janet) deserves the high ranking that he always gets when it comes to his dancing for that reason alone.
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

This list was really bogus. Somebody tell me if i'm crazy to think that Puffy didn't even deserve to be on this list? Since when did folks consider him a talented dancer? How can Puffy even be included on this list when Sammy Davis, Jr. is nowhere to be found??? That's a mockery. And how in the hell did Chris Brown become a better dancer than Tina Turner, Gregory Hines, or Cab Calloway? I mean are we really suppose to be taking this list seriously??? I was really surprised for them to not include Debbie Allen, Josephine Baker, or Ben Vereen. BET is really a joke.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I Puff made the list because he danced in videos in the late 80's/early 90's, why not Flex "Michael Jackson" Washington and Jermaine Dupri. They danced in a ton of videos back then too.

Shit if BET does a 25 greatest musicians of all-time, I better see Bill "Sax man" Clinton on the list or i'll be upset.

Most of the people on the list have been in the biz since the 80's or 90's. Seems like they forgot that "of all time" includes a couple more decades...
