Well Latoya has plenty of fans in the UK. and she's bigger in the UK than Janet is or ever was. During the 80's, Latoya was the 2nd most popular Jackson in the UK. Also Toya's playboy cover is the best selling issue in the magazines history! Latoya's first album was very good. Remember, Janet's first two albums were not big sellers and she didn't have much star quality in the beginning. It wasn't until she hooked up w/Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and enlisted Paula Abdul as a choreographer did her career really start to take off.

I sometimes wonder what would have happened if Latoya had worked with JJ & TL, as well as Paula Abdul? Also Latoya never had the same budget, promotion or investment that Michael or Janet did. I think she could have been as big as Janet is today if she had the right people behind her.

according to wikipedia, LaToya has had exactly 2 singles chart on the U.K. charts (at #92 and #90). and hell, doesn't that chart only go to 75 positions? so these must be the equivalent of the Bubbling Under chart.

i'm pretty sure Janet has done just a little bit better than that, unless wiki is completely wrong, and the only chart info for the UK anyone could come up with for LaToya was 2 singles that stalled at the bottom of the chart.
