I've always fully understood why Michael has his children wearing masks/veils when in the public eye, and much respect for him accordingly.

By masking their identities he's trying to protect their safety and he clearly doesn't care if he's seen as even more 'weird' so long as it means protecting his children.

The way I see it, as long as he is providing and taking care of them, then he is the father. Just because you stick your d**k into a hole that is moist and warm, does not make u a father. It takes a lot more.

And Debbie Rowe admitted the viel thing was her idea. It's got nothing to do with MJ being "wacko". I think those kids are used to the scarves, cause they´ve been wearing them all their lives.
I am not worried about their upbringing, cause I haven´t heard one single negative comment about those kids well-being. Quite the contrary.

Btw, any sane person knows that Michael does NOT keep his children's faces covered while they are at home or at the home of friends and family. THose same people say that Michael makes sure that his kids always come first. Even during the trial and with all of the pressure that came from being falsely accused, it was reported that he would go home and spend time reading to his kids, eating dinner with them, watching movies and making sure he put them to bed. At no time did he even let on what he was going through or allow them to see him in a sad or depressed mood. This is according to someone who was with him every single day.

I try to stay away from MJ threads that aren't about music, but I have to say this:

If you really, really need to go through all of that, maybe it's better you don't have kids. It makes his having children seem almost selfish. Just because his life is a circus (and he loves it, believe that) doesn't mean his children have to be a part of it. If you want to raise your kids, go to Montana and raise your kids...put them in private school, whatever. He would never do that, though, because he loves attention.
