Michael Jackson "getting in shape" to begin "dance rehearsals for new music video". Apparently.

JACKSON'S REP: NO TOUR SET, NO VEGAS SHOW AND NO ROBOT

Michael Jackson has no tour or Las Vegas show in the works, no release date for his unfinished album and no knowledge of a 50-foot laser-firing robot.

In the most definitive statement on Jackson's future since his return to the U.S. in December, Bain told Vegas Confidential, his spokeswoman Raymone Bain said, "His No. 1 priority is completing his music and until that time he's not going to be entertaining any thoughts of a tour or a show."

Jackson is, however, getting in shape to begin dance rehearsals for the video that will accompany his music, she said in a telephone interview.

She characterized as "a hoax" a party invitation that surfaced last week that claimed Jackson was kicking off his tour with a performance and meet-and-greet at the Luxor in June. "That is just not happening."

"A Vegas show was always a rumor," she said. "He's never said it was a priority. He moved to Las Vegas to be closer to producers and songwriters and studio technicians.

Jackson began recording last fall and has continued to work with Will I. Am of the Black Eyed Peas, she said.

She said the report about a five-story robot in Jackson's likeness is another fabrication. "He knows absolutely nothing about that and has never met with anyone to discuss it."

As far as Jackson's recent meetings with uber-producer Simon Fuller and choreographer Kenny Ortega, she said she knows of "no business relationship at this time." -- NORM CLARKE, Vegas Confidential

So something really vague that could be cancelled and not held to Raymone/MJ if it doesn't happen.

Do we think it's really gonna happen this year? The album, I mean?

We've waited long enough... surely to God? If it's 2008 I will kill myself. No... wait... I'll kill Michael and that stupid Raymone tart first... THEN myself.

I always blame Raymone... but she's the destroyer of dreams. Those lovely little rumours that you so want to be true... and deep down you know there's no chance in hell... and then she goes and confirms it's all a crock of shit and we're back to square one.

Let´s hope so.

How can you be so sure Darling Diana?

I wonder who the hell came up with the 50 foot robot thing? Who in their right mind would actully think to do something like that? That's crazy! It's so crazy, I don't think even Mike would come up with some bullshit like that! People can be so creative with rumors though!

Oh yeah, and why the hell is he trying to "get into shape"? His skinny ass needs all the food he can get! He needs some of that Southern cookin' from my grandma! He won't look quite so anorexic then!

I love him tho!

Troy has been dancing since he was 7. Also look at Madonna. Another classically trained dancer. She doesn't ahve posture problems. They are taught in ballet to stand with perfect posture. I'm not certain MJ took any formal dance lessons, and that might be where his bad posture comes from. I'm not denying he's a good dancer just stating his technique might not be right plus he does alot of hunching over in his dancing.

oh and working out helps too.

if it doesn't come out this year, I don't think it's ever coming out. People will lose interest if he keeps pushing the date like he did with invincible

Of course it will be pushed. He has no record company, no distribution deal, no promo deal, and not the financial, mental or physical stability to make it happen. Other than that, I'm glad for him he's focussed on doing music, and Bain may be somewhat of a tyrant, but she's def. been a positive influence over him and the media in the last few months, so here's to hoping it works out somehow for the new album.

Ellie, you have been a long time(since your teens) MJ fan. You know that Michael's albums never come out when we THINK that they will. My question is why is everyone "tripping" so much NOW? With everything that Michael has gone through in the last few years, I will be honored if he does come out with an album. I will also not blame him or Raymone if it doesn't happen. I don't want to go into details about the things and people that Michael is having to endure to keep him FROM releasing this album. People would be shocked if they knew the lengths that certain people in the media and industry are going to keep this man from succeeding. The surprising thing is that fans, especially long time fans, wouldn't know what is going on.

Lord, where do all of the rumors come from? "Posture messed up"? When? Where? Michael has been suffering from back problems since his fall during a Munich concert years ago. Back problems can flare up at anytime, there are virtually no warnings when it will happen. That is the only thing that I worry about if or when Michael decides to tour. Of course, the media and people are going to twist it, as usual. Again, what does this have to do with "posture being messed up"?

The person who came up with this "50 ft.robot" rumor was some gossip columnist frustrated that they don't actually know what is going on in the MJ camp. It's really sad that these people don't have anything better to do than make up rumors about people and get paid for it. Of course, they also know that there are people who are stupid and gullible enough to believe these rumors and that is the very reason that they continue to do it. I am so glad that Raymone is refuting these rumors. It just makes these gossipers look even more pathetic.

MJ went to the emergency room with serious back spasms at 4:00 am in the morning. His intention was to go and get treatment and then change into his courtoom attire. He didn't have chance to go back home because the judge ORDERED him to come immediately to the courtroom; thus, the jacket and pajama bottoms. You would think that he did this everyday,if you believed the idiots in the media. This happened only ONE time because the judge refused to allow him to get changed. His drivers were driving up to 80-100 mph in trying to get him to court on time. The judge said that if he was late, he would be arrested. Of course, the media did not make that known or people just didn't listen if they did. Btw, the jury NEVER knew that Michael had on pajama bottoms, because he was seated at the table and had on a jacket when they came in. However, they did say that they could tell that he was in serious pain during the court proceedings that day. They also mentioned that he was still focused on what was happening. His doctor from the ER room also came to court to tell the judge that Michael really was sick with the back problems and that he had to prescribe medications for it. Back spasms are no joke. I have had them hit me suddenly and have not been able to move, except with small steps. It took a lot of stamina and determination for Michael to be able to show up that day(despite the judge's threat) and be able to sit for hours listening to people try and convict you of a crime that was never committed.

Well not really as I will still check out any new stuff he does, and get the album when it eventually comes out. I'm not excited or hyped about it tho.

actually, i was merely quoting Insult the Comic Dog or whatever his name is.
they did this whole thing where he went to talk to people outside of the
court when the trial was going on and there was this woman who said that mj
came in his pajama's to which the dog kept asking

michael came in his pajama's

you saw michael come in his pajama's?

i guess you'd have to see it to know how funny it really was biggrin
