The First Circle, what a beautiful piece. The clapping rhythm... 123 1234 12 1234 ...Repeat ad infinitum That 's the thing most of the Clonesworth's don't get or ignore about Allan's playing. He knows when to pull back and chill things out. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. This is great. Living Inside Your Love and Last Train Home are two of my favorite songs.
Does anyone know what happened to Stanley Jordan? I never hear much about him anymore. http://www.youtube.com/wa...Z68hjB-RBo Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

According to his webpage, he's gotten deep into Music Therapy to the point of going after a degree in the field at Arizona State University. An interesting perspective from his site... The concept of “entertainment” falls far short of the real potential of music. Even the idea of “music as art” has its limits. When I think back to some of my most profound experiences, such as hearing for the first time the music of Serge Prokofiev, Jimi Hendrix or John McLaughlin, I know I was changed irreversibly. Good music touches us in depths we didn't even know we had. In this way it is tied to our growth and evolution, both emotionally and spiritually. I've always wanted to do more than just making albums and playing gigs. I wanted a higher calling, higher than “commercial” or “artistic” success. What does all that really mean, after all? But if you can touch someone, really help their life, now that would be something special. http://www.stanleyjordan.com/ tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
