1980s R&B Jam of the Day: Lakeside "Fantastic Voyage" One of the classic funk jams of the '80s, the lead single from the album of the same name is the signature song for Lakeside. Its snaky groove, the party chant rap at the beginning and Mark Wood's gruff vocals at the bridge ("Come along, pack your bags/get on up and jam, y'all!/Come on and ride on the funk, now!") still gets butts out of seats.
