Well I was not "lucky" to have parents that paid for my stuff...If I wanted to have something, I had to work and gain some money to buy it.

My thinking is she should be playing smaller venues, I know its Beyonce, but here in NYC its not easy to sell out. Beyonce/Alicia/missy couldnt sell it out with those 3 on the bill, Mariah barely sold it out last tour, Christina/PCD/Danity Kane didnt sell it all out. Beyonce would have been better served playing the Thearter inside the Garde, its smaller more intimate and easier to sell out.

Chris Brown

From what I heard, he's only on the Australian leg of the tour (mid to end of the month).
As far as the American dates, the name Shakira has come up but nothing written in stone.

The thing is only the older more seasoned artists can really get the sellouts, of course Beyonce will sell tickets but its strange that someone that sells so many records cant sell out shows, and she isnt the only one, loads of younger artists dont even tour for this reason. Its not just New York , actually New York is where the tickets sell thats why you wont see many smaller markets played unless you can guarantee selling out or at least coming close. I mean Elton John played a string of shows here last year in New York and sold out in 4 minutes, they had to add shows, U2 has done the same, even Madonna despite high prices did it, as did Prince.

One more thing, does anyone know what she's charging for tickets? I won't be going to a show, but I'm curious to find out.

While she surely is overexposed- I think Beyonce is an amazing performer so if i'm not on vacation, I will defenitly try to go see her in concert when she comes to my city.
