Yeah, but it wasn't even the biggest female hit that year. Not even the biggest not to get to #1, since Natalie Imbruglia's 'Torn' was out at the same time and Toni Braxton's 'Unbreak My Heart' the year before... I only noticed that when Channel 4 did the Top 100 countdown of biggest selling UK singles of all time and the latter 2 made the list. Still, I believe 'Together Again' may have outsold every Madonna single ever in the UK  The mid to late 90s were just HUGE selling periods.[Edited 4/5/07 6:09am] | |

Anyway, I'm getting interested in high selling singles that never made #1. I looked up 'Torn' and Wikipedia says it's the 3rd biggest non-#1. I believe that #1 and #2 are 'Last Christmas' by Wham! and possibly 'Take on Me' by A-Ha. Maybe  [Edited 4/5/07 6:13am] | |
