Janet Jackson "Roll Witchu"-Why didn't She Release This?

I know "Roll Witchu" is a bonus track and wasn't included on The U.S. version of 20 Y.O. but I think it was a mistake on Janet's part to not include this song. Honestly, "Roll Witchu"is better than most of the songs on 20 Y.O. The only songs that are as good are "With U", "Take Care" & "Enjoy". I really think Janet should release this song because it might bring 20 Y.O. back from the dead. If Pink was able to bring her album back to life, there's no reason Janet can't.

Well JANET is moving on.

I think the same logic applies to "Damita Jo" because the "just a lil' while" remix would have been a hit if released.

On 2 bigger and better.. Im sure she can tap into that old jimmy jam/terry lewis magic and climb the charts once again.

It should have been added to the 20 YO US version and been the first single.

The best tracks on 20YO are Enjoy, Take Care, Daybreak and Love 2 Love - coincidentally all the Jam & Lewis produced tracks.

She needs to go back to the days when Jam & Lewis produced her entire albums... yet what are the chances of this when she's with that poor excuse of a producer boyfriend of hers?

I agree, Janet made a big mistake with this album, the public would have embraced the jam & lewis tracks more...

Who in their right mind would choose "call on me" over "enjoy"????

It's really sad what has happened to Janet and her career. I keep waiting for a Emancipation of Mimi type comeback but I don't see it happening for her. And I'm speaking as a life-long fan.

Whilst there is a definate decline in the quality of her output (there is no way half the tracks on 20YO or DJ would be used even for b-sides for her first four albums) she's still a damn sight better than most of her contemporarys.

All For You was no better or worse than DJ or 20YO and that was still a success. Both her last two albums had great tracks which deserved to be hits... but it's just not happening for her at the minute...

Very sad.

stop comparing or using Emanciapation of Mimi as a guide for janet jackson....
becasue it was pure luck... and the song that made that album sell was We belong together... and Mimi had the same manager as Jeniffer lopez... during her biggest point in her career... so it had a lot to do with mariah's management... not so much the album... cause i heard the album and there are lots or boring songs and maybe 5 decents songs on the album... basically a better CB with one big hit song WBT...
any hit song is just luck... even will smith said that...

so i could just be janet's management... because those songs were nice... but people did NOT WANT to give it a chance... they rather buy fergies and gwens even beyonce's albums... before giving JJ a chance
