Song of the day: "I feel good all over" by Stephanie Mills

I wish someone could make music like this again...

A very warm song. Stephanie Mills conveyed a lot of joy in singing this one, which was arguably Mills' biggest hit ("I Feel Good All Over" was No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart for three weeks).

NOTE: The song was originally written by Annette and Gabriel Hardeman for Patti LaBelle.
THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

Cool, i didn`t know that... I`m glad Mills recorded it though.

I have several Stephanie Mills compilations by now, and there`s so many good songs, not just the biggest hits. She`s very underrated

I love this song! I have often thought that this would be a great song for the first dance at a wedding reception. Yeah, I know, typical woman, but us ladies think of these things. giggle

I love this song. The album "If I Were Your Woman" is my favorite Stephanie album. Every track is great. Listening to it now, it does seem a little dated...especially lyrically, but the album still sounds great.

Good song. It's even better when she performs it live. The girl has PIPES!

Hated it. She should have stuck to jams like "Pilot Error".

"Pilot error" is one of her best. "Keep away girls" is another gem...

My favorite song on "If I Were Your Woman" was the Paul Laurence-written and -produced "(You're Putting) a Rush on Me." Just a killer groove that subtly reminded me of The System's "You Are in My System."

nod This is a great late-80s Stephanie Mills album.A strong set of songs. My favorite is "Touch Me Now".I also like the title track,"Secret Lady" and "You're Puttin A Rush On Me".This is easily one of her best albums. In fact,I would say it's probably her second best album (after 1980's 'Sweet Sensation').The only misstep is "Can't Change My Ways",a horrible attempt at incorporating hip-hop beats into her music. She didn't need to do that.

I can deal with "Putting A Rush On Me". That's one of her better ones.....for the late 80s of course. lol

I love that song. My favorites from her are:

Sweet Sensation
Put Your Body In It
Never Knew Love Like This Before
Pilot Error

I didn't care for too much other stuff from her.
