Anyone hip to Goldfrapp? I was in Banana Republic tonight and they were playing a song called "Beautiful" by the U.K. duo Goldfrapp. When I got home, I did some Googling and discovered I'd heard -- and liked -- some of their other stuff in commercials. I can only describe their sound as a Blondie-Donna Summer lovechild as imagined by Portishead.  Plus the lead singer, Allison Goldfrapp, has got this cool, little Electrovamp image going. 
Anyone hip to her/their other stuff? So far, I'm feeling it.

I've listen to all of their stuff and really I don't think its all that great. I know they get great buzz on here but to me nothing except the theme to Nip/Tuck was interesting. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything. |
