"You Give Good Love" is a wonderful slow jam, much more soulful than what came later.

"Thinking About You" is pure uptempo R&B,produced by Kashif.Nothing "pop" about it.

"Saving All My Love For You" is another soulful slow jam.

"So Emotional" leans on the pop side, but at least it's fast! Compare this song to the bland, midtempo, smoothed out R&B/hip-hop-sounding crap that you hear nowadays, lol.

"For The Love Of You" is an incredible remake of the Isley Brothers classic. It's soulful and exotic.

lol

OK, now it's time for me to describe them:

"You Give Good Love" "Oh Davey Jones, you're so dreamy. Come get me on your white horse and take me off to a castle to live happily ever after!"

"Thinking About You" Don't remember that one.

"Saving All My Love For You" A virgin cheerleader in her pleated skirt, holding her school books to her breast, with her head in the air imagining the "dreamy" captain of the football team taking her virginity.

"So Emotional" This is one of her faster ones. The kind she likes to hear at the school dance and "sock hops". This is her cool side. It's "nifty" and "neat-o"....."Oops, golly gee, I missed a dance step. Oh, fudge!"

"For The Love Of You" The ruining of a good song.

lol

Actually, I think you might like "Thinking About You"... at least a little. lurking

I'm almost scared to ask, but what do you think about "Queen of the Night"?

Sounds like Shitney gone rock. But, in true Shitney fashion, it sounds like weak rock for mass appeal. Same as she did with weak house remixes. She wants to try all these different styles of music but she waters them down for mass appeal. I think I even remember her doing a weak reggae song later.

"Queen" of the Night is an appropriate title though because she definately looked like a drag queen in that portion of the movie. I kept expecting to see a big ole dick come out from under that dress. lol

"Cool" for her is different than cool for everyone else. She's neato, groovy, nifty, in a far out, happening kind of way. lol She has the kind of uptempo music you can rock in the station wagon (with the wood panel on the side), along with the dog and kids. lol

Seriously, "Thinking Of You" is probably the only Whitney (Oops! $#!TNEY)song that might get you to get up and dance. It's definitely more funky then "So Emotional" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" Those two songs have zero soul in them at all.

hmph! I love "So Emotional." Everything about it is perfect. The way she delivers the verses and the ending are especially fabulous! love

Exactly.I think Vainandy would like "Thinking About You".It's pure R&B and it's uptempo. It's Kashif all the way...he wrote and produced it,and can be heard singing all over it.Kashif wasn't pop at all.His productions were always funk/R&B.
