I've turned over a new leaf. I wrote her a fan letter from my sick bed and she was nice enough to come visit me. I finally got a chance to meet her April 1 and had the pleasure of telling her what a big fan I am of her's. Here's a picture of the occassion:

seriously,don't you like at least some of her songs?? Come on now,she has a handful of great songs that I really think you would like,if you took the time to listen to them:
"You Give Good Love" is a wonderful slow jam,much more soulful than what came later. "Thinking About You" is pure uptempo R&B,produced by Kashif.Nothing "pop" about it. "Saving All My Love For You" is another soulful slow jam. "So Emotional" leans on the pop side,but at least it's fast! Compare this song to the bland,midtempo,smoothed out R&B/hip-hop-sounding crap that you hear nowadays,lol. "For The Love Of You" is an incredible remake of the Isley Brothers classic.It's soulful and exotic. | |

Hell, I didn't have to take the time, the radio forced them on me everytime it was on in the late 1980s. It's bad when you hate a song but you know all the lyrics because it has been played and played and played.
