Anyone has seen Celine Dion's show in Vegas?

How was it? I was thinking of going 2 c her when I go 2 Vegas this month (of course, I'll b seeing Prince 2 nights that weekend). I like her music, too, but I was wondering what u thought of it if you have seen it-- the production and her performance. I know the admission is much higher than Prince's admission so I wanna know if it's worth it. Thanx!!

I don't know, coming from Kathy Griffin. She's kinda weird herself. Anyone here actually saw it?

i have not but know people who have, and they liked it. I wanna go to see it. It was directed by Franke Dragone. Visully it should be stunning, though the performance might be a little flat since she has been doing it for 3 years.

Franke is responsible for Cirque Du Soileil's Mystere and O which are at the Treasure Island and Belligio and his own show Le Reve at The Wynn.

Thanx 4 the info!! Wow!! That's like 2 admissions 4 the price of 1-- a concert with the diva and a Cirque du Soleil show in one smile

I was reading reviews of the Celine Dion concerts and one reviewer mentioned seeing Prince in her review!! It was from Oct. 2006:

http://www.celinedionforu...opic=18415

Las Vegas was extremely incredible this past time I went. Possibly the best, ever! (IMG:http://www.celinedionforum.com/style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

My best friend, Staci, joined us this time…which was exciting! My parents, aunt and uncle also came. And also, Ramona! (IMG:http://www.celinedionforum.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Celine was exceptional!!!!! I have never seen her so energetic and happy to be there singing! She was very playful with the audience and sang wonderfully.

We saw the show Friday night (just Ramona and I – front row), Saturday night (Mom, Staci, Me, and Ramona – front row), and Sunday night (Ramona, Staci, and I – Rear Orch…right by the sound box). All three great nights!! Saturday night was the best, in my opinion though!! We were all four front and center…and Celine was the best this night!

During IGTWOAS she was right in front of the audience and her microphone cut out. It just completely shut off and she was still singing. It was off for a few words and then came back on. She just played around with it and made some funny faces. She pulled it off really well. But, that just proves that she DOES sing live!! It was cute the way she played it off though! I love when little things like that happen – it makes things interesting!!

There were a lot of French-speaking people in the audience. They were yelling things to her and singing to her, too. She loved it – she asked them if they wanted to come onstage to sing with her. Of course everyone just yelled “YES”.

We didn’t do a whole lot during the day – just went to some of the casinos, cause it was my friend’s first time in Vegas….and probably last – for a while, at least. She loved it there so much! She got to see AND twice. She really was impressed with the show! She’s a fan – but, nothing to an extreme!

Since it was our 21st birthday celebrations, we went to Pure on Friday night. Justin Timberlake was supposed to be there, along with DJ A.M. But, they never showed up while we were still there. BUT, we did see Prince and got to watch the Pussycat Dolls perform. That was neat! Prince was RIGHT next to us with about 6-7 bodyguards and we tried to take a picture, but they wouldn’t let us! He apparently attended the show on Sunday night, too! I didn’t see him there though. We also saw Mia Michaels, the choreographer from A New Day at the show Sunday night! That was awesome! My uncle also saw Sandra Bullock and Jesse James in the Forum shops at Caesar’s Palace!

I can’t think of any other big news that happened…just an amazing time with some amazing people! Celine was great – and I can’t WAIT to see her again!! It will be sooooon!
