Talking Book - Innervisions - Fulfillingness First Finale - Songs in the Key of Life?

Really a five-album sequence starting with Music Of My Mind (maybe even six if you start with Where I'm Coming From)

EWF: LAST DAYS & TIME - OPEN OUR EYES - THAT'S THE WAY OF THE WORLD - GRATITUDE

PARLIAMENT: CHOCOLATE CITY - MOTHERSHIP CONNECTION - CLONES OF DR FUNKENSTEIN - FUNKENTELECHY V PLACEBO SYNDROME - MOTOR BOOTY AFFAIR

WEATHER REPORT: SWEETNIGHTER - MYSTERIOUS TRAVELLER - TALE SPINNIN - BLACK MARKET - HEAVY WEATHER

Personally, I'd take it up to an 8-album sequence. I'm one of the few who absolutely loves Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants, so I'd go from Where I'm Coming From all the way to Hotter Than July.

The Isley Brothers: 3+3, Live It Up, The Heat Is On, Harvest for the World (that's the strongest, but you could argue they had two 4-album streaks in a row from Givin' It Back to Showdown)

From '71 - '79 I see an unbroken string of 9: GIVIN' IT BACK BROTHER BROTHER BROTHER, 3+3, Live It Up, The Heat Is On, Harvest for the World GO FOR YOUR GUNS, SHOWDOWN, WINNER TAKES ALL

FUNKADELIC: STAGE, JOLLIES, KIDD and ONE-NATION

NOTE: The first three: eponymous, FYM and MB are interrupted by AEIY (which is great but it's a transition point and the feel of the band changes). CS is merely ok and SOTV has a few bad spots. UNCLE JAM is serioulsy flawed because it should have been edited down, otherwise that could have gone straight ionto ESOWB

I've never heard that album, of course, and there are only two or three that I can say that about lol

I heard a couple songs, though, and thought they were pretty decent.

Do you like it, or were you just interested?
