What Is (In Your Opinion) The Most Annoying 80's Song(s)? The 80's was a great decade for music, but I'm sure there was a song or a couple of songs that you just found annoying. This is the thread where you can post the song or songs you did not like, and why.
My number #1 pick for the most annoying 80's song has to be "Mickey" by Toni Basil. I personally cannot stand this song, it sounds like a cheerleader song at a pep rally or something. I remember one Christmas my cousins putting "Mickey" on and singing along. I walked out of the room until the song was over, because I couldn't stand hearing the song, it just annoys me that much.  I even told my cousins, "If you put that song on, I swear to God, I am leaving this room." But did they listen to me? Oh hell no. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

I flipped out on a friend at a dinner party years ago after she played an Air Supply compilation for a few hours. I can't name a specific song that pushed me over the edge, but they only had one song, really... | |

All jokes. I can't think of an 80s song that I find annoying, off the top of my head. I agree with "Mickey". Although I enjoyed the first few times I heard it. Kind of a fun song. But it became annoying after the 11926738467879th I heard it. | |
