That album had lots of great tracks to only have 10 songs like "Dear John Letter"

I was about to say they should have went the remix route with tracks like "Try It On My Own"...I guess they did but how come I never saw this video before today? They really should have done a whole new video (because that original kind of sucked) even if if it was kind cheap...that video was cursed (as was the album) by the presencse of "Bobbay"...

And that's all that counts. "Tell Me No" could have been a great single with a great remix, too. Wasn't that the track that was supposed to feature Carlos Sanatana when they released it as a single...a lot of promises made but...

I haven`t heard that before hmmm

I think it`s the best song from the album, much better than "Whatchulookinat". I didn`t really care for the song or the video, she looked scary... shake

Whitney's label completlely screwed her over w/that album. Not enough promotion was done for it, but the video posted of "Tell Me No" just proves once again why Whitney Houston is the greatest singer that has ever lived. She is truly "The Voice".
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

Might have been a rumour or some fan's wishful thinking.

"Whatchulookinat" was a fucking mess. No wonder they sort of scrapped that in the US (I never saw the video actually hit US outlets but then again at I didn't have cable becuase I just moved out of my parents...Thank God!). I think I remember seeing the video online...about as good as the song.

If I remember correcly, the CD book had two photo sessions...the cover and photos in dark brown, which look awesome and then Whitney looking old and desperate in photos that were the same as the "Whachu..." single. There were so many problems with that album (not the photos, really, but what the fact that there was so much confusion over that first single and the release date). They better make things right this time. It's going to be a mess, though, with her dating some guy who is supposedly in an upcoming sex tape and , what, at least fifteen years younger? I don't care but if Whitney wants to go to older fans, she needs help!

Anytbing was better than that damn song...Exactly why did Arista allow her to make a video for it is also a damn shame.

I liked some of the tracks on this album like One Of Those Days, Tell Me No, Things You Say, Try It On My Own, and Dear John Letter. It was just the uptempo joints that botched the album down a lot because they didn't fit her voice. Overall, it was a nice album and I hope with her long awaited comeback CD, Arista Records can actually promote it heavily with a successful tour. It's so ridiculous how Arista Records made the Just Whitney album her lowest selling album with no strong hit singles. It seemed like it was an independent release, if u ask me...

I think the whole purpose of the song was to get out her anger, that`s what it sounds like.

"Messing with my reputation
Ain't even got no education"

The video didn`t make her look good either, she looked pissed and too skinny lol

(and about the parents thing, i understand!! believe me nod)
