EnVogue recently signed a contract with Clive Davis' label J Records,but the group now only contains two original members.Dawn left several years ago,and last year another longtime member left (I think it was Cindy).The revamped group recently toured with New Edition.
I would LOVE for the original four members to get back together,let bygones be bygones and start over with a kickass new CD.The last two EnVogue CDs were flops.And Dawn's solo CD is collecting dust in the cut-out bins.With the new record deal,now would be a great time for a reunion. I was CRAZY about their 1992 'Funky Divas' CD!! There really isn't a bad song on it.I especially liked "Hip Hop Lover","Love Don't Love You" and "Give It Up,Turn It Loose". | |

Definitely the premiere girl group of recent times yeah.
When they're harmonising they remind me of P-Funk offshoots like Parlet and Brides Of Funkenstein. I have their "Best Of" CD. | |

they were Good for there time Period. the Female Boyz11Men if you will.Very Talented but also in Need of whomever was Writing&Producing them. IMHO they Never were the Funky Divas that Honor belongs to the Emotions IMHO. mistermaxxx | |
