Record label already wants to sign SANJAYA

America Online members have spoken and the votes are in. 75% of 177,000 plus people who voted say Sanjaya Malakar is the worst singer who has ever appeared on American Idol. But that hasn't stopped record labels from lining up to sign Malakar once he's off the show.

BodogMusic, which enjoys close ties to everyone's favorite American Idol betting odds monitoring website, Gambling911.com, will reportedly offer Mr. Malakar a recording contract once he is voted off the show (assuming he ever gets voted off the show).

Sources have told Gambling911.com that "higher ups" at BodogMusic would like to team Malakar up with their marquee star, singing sensation Bif Naked.

Our source, who wishes to remain anonymous, said:

"Bif Naked's next album is going to be widely marketed in American and a duet with Sanjaya Malakar would help to boost her presence in the States."

BodogMusic Founder, Calvin Ayre, has not confirmed the reports. Ayre was last year's Forbes cover boy billionaire and bringing Sanjaya on board would certainly fit this marketing genius' Modus Operandi.

"Sanjaya Malakar would bring a younger fan base to the (BodogMusic) label that would result in generating heavy sales."

Bodog.com is one of the largest online gambling companies and is gaining a reputation in the world of Mixed Martial Arts through its BodogFight arm.

But BodogMusic might not be the only venue looking to capture Malakar once he is freed from his Idol stint. The lad has become perhaps the single most talked about American Idol ever and most would agree the job offers will come rolling in.....Whether these include singing gigs is a whole other story.

Meanwhile, shock jock Howard Stern has vowed to make sure Sanjaya Malakar becomes the next American Idol.

For the last two weeks, Mr. Stern has been promoting a Web site created by a 24-year-old “American Idol” fan that encourages people to support the worst performer on the popular talent show. Their candidate is none other than the tone deaf Sanjaya Malakar.

“We’re corrupting the entire thing,” Mr. Stern said on his Sirius Satellite Radio show Thursday, the day after Mr. Malakar secured a place in the top nine finalists. “All of us are routing ‘American Idol.’ It’s so great. The No. 1 show in television and it’s getting ruined.”

By promoting Mr. Malakar, Mr. Stern says, he hopes to turn the talent competition into a farce and destroy its popularity.

The stakes of the battle are not insignificant, either for Fox or for the contestants. In its sixth season, “American Idol” has drawn an average of 32 million viewers each week, nearly 50 percent more than the next highest-rated show and better than the show has measured in any previous season.

Are we even surprised, i really do hope that he wins, i dont even watch the show, but let him win, it will just prove how BIG a scam this show really is, and im sure he will sell a million records based on his fucking hair, and that sums up the music business, they will sell anything, if anyone thinks its talent that labels or producers are looking for you have a lot to learn. I already that the Haley girl is getting signed, i caught a glimpse of these final 12 or whatever they are, and its really like the gathering of some of the lowest talent ever, and im not just talking about the show, im talking in general, i see better talent riding on a train in NYC when the homeless guy comes in and sings. Another reason i hope this kid wins is because i heard a rumour that Simon is pulling off the show if he does, and hes pulling the $$ out of the show, which means bye bye AI!

What makes this Sanjaya situation different from ladies like Cassie, Maya and Amerie getting signed for their looks?

Anybody ever see the movie "The Idolmaker"? Someone's gonna come along and snag him and put him thru those same steps.

I agree with the other orgers..If Cassie, Maya, Paula Abdul, and Britney could fool the whole world that they could sing, then Sanjaya will have no problem. He'd be OK for a garage band but I'm not too sure about him being an "American Idol".

Except Amerie can sing, imo.
