Songs that you love, but not many people know about them.

Are there songs that you absolutely adore, but hardly anyone else have heard of them.?

"Keep your Heart Right" from Terry Callier from his album "Timepeace" is one of my all time favourite songs, but apart from a few people who are into folk-Jazz no one has heard of the song, album or Terry Callier, for that matter.!!

Kool!

I like Terry's Stuff, but you're right, he's not that well known to most folks. I became aware of him through his his mid to late 60's work with producer/arranger Charles Stepney, who also produced Rotary Connection, Minnie Riperton's debut, Ramsey Lewis, Phil Upchurch, The Dells, and of course, Earth Wind and Fire....

My favorite song for the last 2 months has been Kudu's 'Playing House' dancing jig
I love their whole album, but this song perfectly
describes my relationship with one of my best friends right now lol

i know the decemberists one. i have a smog album but i haven't listened to it very much.

one of my favorite songs is tragic mulatto's cover of "whole lotta love", which i think rocks more than any rock recording has ever rocked. i think it may even rock more than the original, and i'm only half saying that to be sacriligious.

Well, it wasn´t popular in my country. That´s great that it was a hit elsewhere, cause I think the song is great. I love the way it builds.
