There are loads of types of Lupus. It's believed that MJ has Discoid Lupus, the less serious form of it. Seal had it too. Lupus is most common in women, but for males it's more common in black men.
Kelle Bryan from Eternal has it aswell - she looks fine but it halted her attempts at a solo career. [Edited 3/30/07 0:17am]

He admitted that he didn't like to eat because his father would always make comments about his weight when he was younger & he said his weight was the only thing he could control. But he has stated in the past in interviews that he is not a big fan of food and I think any man who is 5"10/5"11 and only weighs 120 lbs would be considered underweight. Even Katherine, Latoya & Joe have all said that Michael does not like to eat. Joe said that during the Dangerous Tour MJ was being fed through a tube actually. As far as the lupus goes, I said "Reportedly" because I don't know how true it is. I heard that during the trial it was revealed that he has had lupus since 1984 and there is also something about MJ having lupus on this website: http://www.lupus.org.uk/a...e.php?i=80 Where did this anorexia stuff come from? Michael has NEVER had anorexia. Michael used to be a strict vegetarian and didn't eat any meat. His doctor recommended that he start eating meat during one of his tours because he was losing so much weight after each show. Just because a person is tall and thin doesn't mean that they are suffering from anorexia. My father was tall and thin and he never suffered from anorexia. Roger Friedman has to be the most pathetic human being on earth. What is wrong with this creep that he is so obsesssed with Michael Jackson? Btw, for the person who seemed "surprised" that a person could go to the DOCTOR for a cold. Where have you been? That's what people do when they have colds, they go to the doctor before it turns to something more serious. Are you saying that Prince or any other person doesn't go to the doctor for colds? The people who spew that kind of illogical mess must think they are being funny. What's funny about being stupid? why would eating meat make a difference? I'm OVERweight and I've never eaten meat in my life!

Face it, all he stands for to most people is interfering with young boys. His career will never be the same again.

Face it, all he stands for to most people is interfering with young boys. His career will never be the same again. Most intelligent people know that the allegations are bullshit. Of course, intelligent people actually took time to follow the facts of the case and not the manipulation presented by the media; especially, people like Diane Diamond( a prosecutor's stooge). Mesereau, MJ's lawyer, said that the media's biased reporting disturbed him most of all. If the media had actually reported what really happened in that courtroom, people would know that this case was as bogus as the other allegations. However, you still have people who actually wanted Michael to be guilty. It's sad that there are people who are sick enough to want a person to be guilty of something that they didn't do.

I've been to the Emergency Room several times with the flu and so have some of my family members. An Emergency Room is in a hospital. I don't see the big deal. Of course, if anyone else had done the same thing, no one would have thought anything about it. When it comes to Michael people seem to forget that he is human. I guess those same people don't have sense enough to think that he has the right to go to the hospital just like anyone else.

He makes up these stories, just like the rest of the gossipers/tabloids and then people blame Michael because the story was written. This is why these people are so disgusting. They make up the story and to cover their butts and then they claim that Michael put out the story. Only weak minds would believe that. Notice how all of these stories suddenly begin when these same tabloids/gossipers think that Michael is going to release a new project. It is the SAME pattern-release negative info to detract from the music. Hopefully, people are beginning to see just what these gossip/tabloid types are up to. Their agenda is crystal clear.

Why are you ppl still discussing him being ill, when he released a statement that he´s not in hospital? Roger is an idiot who makes the most unbelievable s**t. Some of his stories include: A woman being pregnant with MJ carrying quadruplets. Jermaine releasing a book saying Mike is a pedophile. Tell me, what truth was there to them? The quadruplets stories was so ridiculous and it appeared even in Czech press. When he couldn´t make the story continue, he make the quadrulplets twins and after that the story just dissapeared. Whenever you see some news from FOX, it is a LIE!! "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. Kelle Bryan from Eternal has it aswell - she looks fine but it halted her attempts at a solo career. [Edited 3/30/07 0:17am] on wikipedia it says that some skin deseases may be related to it. Do you think vitiligo is as well? SLE is one of several diseases known as the great imitator[3] because its symptoms vary so widely it often mimics or is mistaken for other illnesses, and because the symptoms come and go unpredictably. Diagnosis can be elusive, with patients sometimes suffering unexplained symptoms and untreated SLE for years. Common initial and chronic complaints are fever, malaise, joint pains, myalgias and fatigue. Because they are so often seen with other diseases, these signs and symptoms are not part of the diagnostic criteria for SLE. When occurring in conjunction with other signs and symptoms (below), however, they are considered suggestive.
Dermatological manifestations As many as 30% of patients present with some dermatological symptoms (and 65% suffer such symptoms at some point), with 30% to 50% suffering from the classic malar rash (or butterfly rash) associated with the disease. Patients may present with discoid lupus (thick, red scaly patches on the skin). Alopecia, mouth, nasal, and vaginal ulcers, and lesions on the skin are also possible manifestations. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...thematosus BTW, here´s a clip of MJ on tour showing some blotches on his arms for those who don´t believe he has vitiligo. http://www.youtube.com/wa...ed&search= "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

If you'd read the documnets you'd know that he paid a settlement in the civil court on a count of negligence to stop that case going on before a criminal trial, hindering him defenseless. No-one was "paid-off" and no-one was stopped from co-operating with a criminal investigation.
