On Ryan Seacrests morning show here in LA...it was confirmed by Nigel Lithgow, executive producer of 'Idol' that 'Madonna has jumped on board and will be on tonight'.

He also said that Kelly Clarkson will sing with Jeff Beck

Annie Lennox will sing 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'

and he hinted that the massively hyped 'Musicial Giants Duet' will be Celine Dion and a 'World Idol' who no one would ever expect to perform again...

OK David, I'm thinking back to when I was bitching about Prince lowering his standards and even being in the same presence as those dead asses on that boring ass show. I remember you telling me back then that you don't watch shows like that even when they have your favorite artists on them. I'm holding you to your word.

i didn't watch AI when prince was on it - that's how much i hate that show. plus i knew (at the time) it would be all over youtube and HQ the next day.

I must admit, I watched it that night just to see if the rumors were true. When I saw Prince come out on that stage, I wanted to throw a brick at the TV. However, I felt better when I read about everyone on the show bitching about Prince not interacting and acting like he was above them and better than them (which he is).
