okay, i know this thread may die because i ain't tendin to it. i just got my first dvd in the mail from timelife of the Midnight special live performances. i dont usually buy stuff through mailorder but this was something i simply couldn't refuse! (damn i sound like one of those commercials ), anyway on this one i got

i was really tempted to get this for the david bowie stuff, but i didn't wanna be stuck with a bunch of other stuff i didn't want...though i used to watch midnight special all the time as a kid, and i always loved it. let me know if it's great! i might just take the plunge myself.

I ordered these DVDs a long time ago.I now have over a dozen DVDs,spanning the years 1973-81.I don't know how many more they're gonna send,but I'm still receiving 2 DVDs every other month.I'm enjoying these DVDs alot.My favorite one is from 1976,it features Carlos Santana and George Benson performing "Breezin" together....it also features Starbuck performing "Moonlight Feels Right".That's one of my favorite songs from the 70s but I had never seen that band before.So these CDs are thrilling to watch.
