Well u cant blame the artists, which is usually what we do. NO ARTIST signed to a label has the control to set up their tours, and whatever artists say they do are lieing. Deals like this are set up by one corporation with anyone, and im sure the venue is inlvolved too. Its just like when there are deals to sell releases only at wal mart or Best buy, the artist has NO SAY its all up to the label. So dont blame the artist for these type of deals, Beyonce's label sony just did a similar thing with selling a DVD just to walmart, which is moronic since alot of city areas dont even have walmarts. Actually it does kind of make sense they did that since Walmart is the biggest music retail store and there's practically one in every place. Plus Walmart always has their DVD's at a reasonable price range which always seems to be $9.72 or higher...

oh. i know it's a corp. that's managing it. i'm not blaming the artist at all. i just won't be going to see her. however, the 1st time she was coming around, the concert was cancelled at the last minute. this time you have to be a member of such and such a card. maybe she SHOULD be aware of how her business is being managed. Yeah most artists have no clue on the business end of it at all, i think Pearl Jam were about the only ones that had a clue what was being done without their knwoledge. But overall artists dont have a say in the deals signed. Plus Walmart always has their DVD's at a reasonable price range which always seems to be $9.72 or higher... Beleive it or not NYC does not have one Walmart, only the outer areas of Long Island and New Jersey do, so cutting out a major city as New York, not a wise thing, people are not going to hop a train out to Long Island for Beyonce Dvd, there only chance is online orders, but from what i have heard, walmart is really slow and shipping is outrageous. Are you serious? As much as Walmart claims to be the biggest chain in America that isn't very logical to not have business in New York...

its cool to do exclusive pre-sales but i think its silly to do the entire concert that way...its just going to piss off your fanbase... Space for sale...
