It took me a while to get into her. I did not like her when she started. Such a strong voice with someone so young singing stupid pop did not fit to me. But I fell in love with the Stripped album and got used to her voice. Now I really like it. I think she found the right style to fit her voice. I think she just has such a strong voice that will always sound like screaming. Janet for example may scream as they wish and she´ll never be accused of screaming.
But I do agree that in Dirrty she really screams. I hate that song of hers. That´s the only song that I don´t like on Stripped. BTW Theodore, do you know where could I download this Grammy performance? Here is her hopefully "non-screaming" performance. Wow... I never liked her per4mances of "Hurt"... beautiful song but somehow I just don't like it live.
