Here are the upcoming episodes of "Soul Train" for the next few weeks...UPDATED (SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED) *****LISTINGS HAVE CHANGED *****
OK y'all, they finally listed this weekend's upcoming episode.....
Performers include Billy Preston; George McCrae; Rufus with Chaka Khan; and comic Franklin Ajaye. Don Cornelius is the host. However, the episode after that is totally different than what they had listed last week..... Ben E. King ("Supernatural Thing"); Barbara Mason ("From His Woman to You," "Shackin' Up"); and the Dramatics ("Me, Myself & I" and "Me & Mrs. Jones"). Host: Don Cornelius. Also, look at time they have listed for that episode....WGN, 4:30 a.m. What the fuck? http://www.tvguide.com/de...howairings The next two weeks following it aren't even listed on the site anymore. What the hell is going on? PREVIOUS LISTINGS I checked TV Guide for the upcoming episodes. As usual, their dates are Monday dates, which we all know are incorrect because the show airs on Saturdays. Here are the upcoming episodes with the correct dates: March 31 The page is blank. They have nothing listed. April 7 Wilson Pickett ("Love Will Keep Us Together"), Betty Wright ("Everybody Was Rockin' ") and the Modulations ("Worth Your Weight in Gold") are the guests. Don Cornelius is the host of the series. _____ The site has the next two dates listed as "April 16" but has different episodes listed on each link. http://www.tvguide.com/tv...ain/204505 April 14 Johnny "Guitar" Watson ("Real Mother") and Whispers ("Make It with You"). Don Cornelius is the series host. April 21 Ben E. King ("Supernatural Thing"); Barbara Mason ("From His Woman to You," "Shackin' Up"); and the Dramatics ("Me, Myself & I" and "Me & Mrs. Jones"). Host: Don Cornelius. . . [Edited 3/29/07 10:35am] Andy is a four letter word.

It's from his Chocolate Mountain album which I haven't heard. Here's an interesting Wilson Pickett story (Rolling Stone - Ben Fong-Torres) done during that time period: http://www.rollingstone.c...s_to_vegas He learned about Vegas long before Prince did. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I wonder why Don is holding back on the late 70s episodes Just think of all the great performances we are missing: Brothers Johnson,Rose Royce,Commodores,Natalie Cole,Chic,Heatwave,GQ,etc.

OK, I just checked WGN's website for listings. There is a damn baseball game on during the time that the show would originally air on April 7. That weekend's episide will air at 4:30 a.m. (Eastern Time) on April 9. That's not late Saturday night/early Sunday morning.....it's late Sunday night/Monday morning.
Dammitt, if they are going to reschedule or take things off because of events such as parades and ball games, they need to take bullshit off the air like "American Idol" instead! Andy is a four letter word.
