Michael Jackson has stated that he wants 2 take timeout from touring to star in movies.

He said he wants to do at least 6 decent movies before he tours again.

He has also said that there is some truth in the rumour that he wants to do his famous moonwalk on the moon!!!

that should put the MJ going Broke Rumors to Rest for a while.if He isn't even gonna tour for a while.I think Film could be a good step for Him with His Sense of Vision in Hsi Music Videos but then again it's harder on the Big Screen for a Hour&a Half than a Music Video.time will tell.

maybe he can get tommy mattola to finance it ...

Hopefully if there is any truth to this, he'll do animated films...I can barely watch him for 5 minutes on the tv without getting the creeps, imagine 90 minutes on a big screen!

the guy can act well. and those lessons from great stars and his movie collection would help make interesting movies.

i know what movies i would like to see him do. since he loves the depressing human emotions stuff, he should watch any episode from the Indian drama: Mugaloo Days. it is teribally sad and straight firward what life is like for millions of people. the music is sooo sad and dear and i feel like i can connect/ relate to all the poor people in India.

MJ has lost a lot of his power in the industry. The proof of that is the way that MTV made a fool out of him with the birthday cake/artist of the millenium thing. MTV would never have pulled a stunt like that on MJ when he was the biggest star on the planet.

the funny thing is he didn't even invent the moonwalk.. Electric Boogiloo (sp?) did it on Soul Train in 1979

You know,I never believe Michael when he announces future projects.He's been talking about doing movies for years,and these projects NEVER materialize.I remember in the 80s,hearing about a film called "MidKnight" and recently there was talk about "The Edgar Allen Poe Story".As somebody pointed out,it's a little too late in the game for Michael to be doing movies.He should have made films in the 80s when he was red-hot.
