Some Funkadelic gossipy news Copped this from the One-Nation board where occasional PFunk drummer GabeW dropped some BWOTD anecdotes. He had this to say about what has yet to be released.
Now we got 3 more Funkadelic records to go before we catch up to the alleged new one being recorded now!Just so you heads can keep track the next one for release should be the DARP
Funkadelic sessions,then the SONY Funkadelic sessions recorded in Denver and GC's farm,The Disc,Pearl Sound,& United Sound in Detroit. This shit was killer for real with Kidd Funkadelic,BBMC,Gabe,Lige,Clip,Amp Skeet,&Garry Shider.Then the Mammoth sessions which are floating about one good thing,I heard "Doing it in the mud"re-visited on the end of Viagraphy which scares me to think GC erased it and recorded over the tracks and kept the vocals hopefully he was smart enough to make a slave reel for that track I'm hoping until then "Keep th@ Funk Alive"! test | |

Great news for sure! I hope there's some Pedro Covers involved.
Although I'm still waiting for my local record store to get By Way of the Drum for me. Anyone else get that yet? If so where? Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way. | |
