I've always thought of her as that perpetual 14 year old girl in grade school who teased the boys but never did anything with them.

I think her marraige to Mattola may have ruined sex for her for good. She mentioned vaguely in interviews that she never really liked it and that sometimes she was just doing it for his pleasure and never her own.

Her last significant relationship was over 5 years ago with Luis Miguel...just makes me wonder is all.

But I was speaking with my best friend, and she was telling me about her ex-boyfriend from college that she never really got over but had to break up with because he wanted to make it big in Hollywood, and he told her that he had worked on one of Mariah's videos. Ive often thought of this. I think she likes the idea of appealing to men sexually, but not so much the idea of sex itself - thats always the impression Ive had of her. Kind of like a young teenage girl. You know when Madonna and Janet slut it up, its because they just love getting laid - with Mariah I aint convinced.

She's got this kind of persona now that is so diva - in an almost charicature way, I just cant imagine her being in a normal relationship that involved just doing day to day stuff like having sex or being intimate with someone.

Maybe Im being really harsh on her, but I kind of imagine that Mariah world is exactly like we see in her videos - she has a whole big entourage doing everything for her while she totters round her house in her high heals and her underwear - singing at everyone - posing in the mirrors while a hareem of small dogs follows her around.

I kinda of parrellel her to a Barbie doll. She's got all the right features on the surface, but there's something overwhelmingly plastic about it, and underneath it all theres no sex there at all.

Wow, I'm really surprised this many people have thought about Mariah's sex life.

I do know, she said point blank in an interview she doesn't have to have it all the time especially when she's working on a project. As most fans know she battles with insomnia so she gets very focused when she works round the clock. I didn't think that was so odd since there are some people, especially women who don't need to be in a relationship or sexually active all the time. Others can't be alone or without it for a minute.

She likes romance and to be romanticized and that's where a lot of her passion lies. That's what turns her on. But she needs to have trust and her trust has been broken by a few guys.

Being sexy or looking sexy doesn't necessarily mean a person needs to act on it. It's a feeling and state of mind. Anyway, I think she was really hurt with the Luis Miguel break up and that lead to part of her emotional stress during that time. I can't see her being with him for as long as she was and there not be some sex involved but who knows.
