I'm by no means a Hendrix purist but Kirk Hammett has no business touching anything of Jimi's. He should stick to Misfits covers or some other ugly ass music, just like his own | |

Sorry Cool, but elements of Little Wing's beauty are the gentle nuances used in how the tune is played.
That's totally missing in this version. It's rather ham-fisted if you ask me. tA  Tribal Disorder

No offense to Kirk because he seems like a nice guy, but when I hear cats like Gary Moore, Alex Skolnick, Randy Rhoads (RIP), or even Yngwie do those same types of scales and runs....they make it sound mindblowing.
But when Kirk does it, why don't I get the same feeling? I mean Yngwie's version of "Spanish Castle Magic" with Joe Lynn Turner had a LITTLE groove to it. (lol) | |
