The very first time I heard this album, it was on some late-night preview show on either Radio 1 or Radio 2. I was, like, "Wow!!!" I then had to go on a school trip and, en route, we stopped at a service station and I bought the tape (!) there.

Only thing was, that bloody tape - for some reason - would never play side 2 on my Walkman; I think it was 'bound' too tightly. It would squeak every time I played it in my hi-fi, as well. So most of my memories are of side one but it is a beautiful album from start to finish. My favourites (maybe) 'Only The Wind' and 'My Octopher Symphony'.

so now my parents insist i go to see you, natisse and herman

and i'm taking friday afternoon off to go help my brother get
started on taking down wallpaper and stuff. plus there will be
enough time to help him paint and all after the weekend.

and well, joris will just have to stay with my parents for the
weekend. i'll just take him on extra long walks and play fetch
with him some more all week long so that come this weekend he
will want nothing but sleep for two days straight
