And while she didn't explain it well, it represents to me the melding of the artist & producer, with no barriers in between themselves or between us and them, as a unified piece of art, as represented by the paint. just what i said... Im not sure exactly every instrument used for the music... but each song sounds like it has drums, guitar, piano...
and each song sounds pretty much the same... just the notes are changed a little.. and the songs sound "typical"... and the lyrics are "typical"... I have heard those lyrics many times before... she hasn't said anything that impressed me.... When you listen to lauren hill.. and then Joss stone.. you will she was i mean.. about Joss lyrics being "typical" elementry school... and I bet she lost her voice... after recording each song.. cause it sounds like she is straining her throat... and her voice sometimes sounds weird... overall this album is OKAY... its NOThing that will go down in history.. or it wont change the culture... cause she basically copied a lot of people... its NOT special or different.... at times it sounds like she is shouting.. at other times.. it sounds like mariah or alicia keys... its like she can't pick on voice tone to sing in... i really believe that if she keeps straining her voice.... in five years she won't be able to sing... |
